Platelet Rich Plasma works by enhancing and strengthening your own existing collagen. Platelet Rich plasma helps stimulate collagen regrowth and boost the skin's existing structure.

Phase 1 is done where blood is extracted from the person, around 60mL in volume. This would be spun in a centrifuge to separate the components of the blood. The platelets are obtained and are allowed to multiply. In this multiplication process, growth factors are also generated which will serve to be the stimuli for the cells in your scalp.

Phase 2 would involve the activation of the skin to these growth factors in the platelets. With the roller, the skin is activated simultaneously by 100 microneedles which is virtually painless.

Phase 3 would be the injection of the platelets and growth factors into the skin. This process promotes healing of the punctures as well as the stimulation of new collagen. The cells now take up the platelets and growth factors which is a very effective way to rejuvenate the skin.
